Burning Bridger Canyon

Burning Bridger Canyon

On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, lightning struck the hillside above Bozeman's famous M, located at the south end of the Bridger Mountain Range. Three days later, residual heat ignited a wildfire that would end up burning well over eight thousand acres and displacing 28 households. In the face of adversity, the community banded together to evacuate the farmers and animals in need.
